Team Ascension continues to offer private-pay after-school enrichment in Brainerd. Families pay only for the scheduled time they use, subject to current staffing and availability.
Simple hourly pricing
$8 per hour, per child.
This is a current private-pay program. It is separate from the proposed M2M initiative, employer-sponsored seats, and regular monthly class tuition. Contact Team Ascension for current openings and the hours available to your family.
A purposeful afternoon
More than waiting for pickup.
Children can build an afternoon around movement, creativity, music, academic support, and meaningful participation. Activities are matched to age, interests, the published schedule, and current instructor availability.
The goal is not to fill every minute. It is to give the child a useful rhythm: arrive, settle in, move, learn, create, and go home having done something worth being proud of.
Academic support
Tutoring, assignment support, and purposeful learning time help children make progress without turning the entire evening into homework.
Creative work
Art and maker-style activities give children room to plan, create, revise, and share something of their own.
Music
Rhythm, music literacy, guitar, piano, and individual coaching may be included according to the child’s plan and current availability.
Schedule
Weekday afternoons by confirmed arrangement. The family selects the hours requested; Team Ascension confirms the opening.
Placement
Enrollment depends on age, staffing, capacity, program fit, behavior expectations, and any requirements applicable to the planned activities.
Progress
Families may choose a 90-day goal and receive progress information in the areas where the child participates.
Private pay and M2M are different
One is open now. One is being explored.
Private-pay after-school programming is a current Team Ascension offering. M2M is a separate proposed January 2027 initiative involving employer sponsorship and structured parent participation. M2M is not currently open for enrollment.
